Yep, lust can short-circuit common sense and common decency.

I concur that *lust* can be a critical foundation piece for *narcissism*. That said, my opinion (and experience) is that the narcissists can be asexual. Consequently if we focus on lust as sexual addiction and/or predation, then I would argue that lust is one possible (but not required) aspect of a narcissistic personality. That would infer that narcissism manifests itself across a broader spectrum of personality *puzzle-pieces*.

More toxic is the integration of sexual lust, narcissism and sociopathy....which we now understand is disturbingly pervasive in our everyday life (see *Brett Kavanaugh*). It is one thing to troll women with vulgar language and creepy behavior....but much more damning to sexually assault them.

In sum, narcissists can be vulgar, annoying and boorish...but we can marginalize them and vent our frustrations by making them the butt of blog-posts. Narcissistic sociopaths are dangerous (I'll even say they are truly *human scum*) and should be neutralized (I'll let our Justice System decide how to implement this recommendation).

"... greasy, stinky..." Eeee 😮
When BOTH parties are in "lust" at the same time, then things are balanced. Otherwise, someone gets screwed. And not always, in that 'good' way. 🅾️🔥💦

With rejection being the number one fear of all humans,
It only makes sense
that lust would make people hide who they really are
a perfect hiding place for ones real age as well as
any evidence of lack of hygiene while at the same time judging who would be appropriate
based merely on looks alone.

Using more than all the road!

It's not narcissism, it's male entitlement. I think about it a lot. We've all been exposed to a culture where women are used as props in advertisements, narratives are based around the motives of men and not the needs of women. The list goes on.

I think that it should be OK for a man to pay for sex because it allows him to prioritize his sexual interests over those of his partner and acknowledges that fact by compensating her for the time and hassle.

Otherwise, I think it should not be OK for a man to act like his needs are the only ones that should be prioritized.

I think things will change for the better on this front, but I think it will take time.
