I can meet you in a half hour. Really?? A half hour you say.... At the top of my To Do List today was to meet a random stranger who just happens to be in my town today and says he can meet me in minutes or less. Will he have a pizza with him as well? I have to honestly ask, does this line actually work for people out there? Perhaps I'm behind the times as I like to be selective in who I meet. I want to know I'm not about to catch The Clap. I want to believe there won't be a scorned wife / girlfriend stalking me at my very public place of employment. I would also like to minimize my chances of becoming a victim of crime. After all.... this guy is willing to meet me sight unseen. I politely declined his offer, telling him that I already had a friend and thanked him for his interest. On a weird side note.... Not seconds after I sent that response, I received a stating "goo.gl" was verifying my "phone#" and that I should respond to the hyperlink. Related, ya think???? I very rarely respond on here unless it's in response to a blog (I have a few readers that comment via my inbox) or it's one of the few online friends I've made over the years. I guess this is what I get for trying to be polite. |

i get it...women and men are different, but i don't understand those men who send us, these kind of messages...another message i get often is "he is already in town, for business, and can meet me in his hotel" type of thing...ugh...i don't know you??? why don't you go buy a hooker, or escort if you are that desperate, but i don't need to be a number in the crime statistics, or found naked floating in the pond tomorrow morning...ya know...

I got a very similar message from a lady on another site earlier today McLade.......needless to say I dropped everything and told her to come over, she'll be here in 10 mins......  Funnily enough, within seconds of sending 'her' a polite rebuttal I got another email with a dodgy link in it. Bots and flakes, only too happy to fleece you of your hard earned dosh...... Not sure about your guy though, he may just have been taking the scatter gun approach.....

LMAO.... some people are idiots! There is no way in hell that would work unless it's a woman saying that to a guy! On that note, I have declined more than one woman who wanted to do me within hours. That just threw up a red flag for me. I am somewhat picky as well. Better to be selective!! Besides, I know my hand is safe! LOL Um, yah. I'll pass.

I have 1 person I had to block for similar reasons.... He felt I was on the wrong site and became verbally threatening to "My kind". I'm not sure what was behind it, or what led to his anger, but I certainly didn't deserve to be treated poorly for not wanting to play with married men.
