Ya..its completely messed up. I could see charging to initiate a conversation..maybe....but to answer one. Ugh...thats nuts.!!! I always answered....even if it was just to say, " sorry i am already talking ". I think its rude not to answer somehow. Soooooo....i have stated that on my profile update....BUT the site is not allowing status updates ...at the moment. Whackyness to the nth degree...IMHO ~~ It also limits the interaction of the gold members.....as they no longer can converse with standards. Kinda like a caste system......ugly stuff ~~

OK I try again, YES I can send an IM to anyone, but it is not free any more. The recipient has to pay 11 points to receive my IM request, so I have lost the ability to use IM as it was in the past.. If I send an IM , I surely do not expect the recipient to have to pay to get it. With this change we do not have the unlimited use of IM as we had.. Normalman, sorry for using your pervious space. Miss Lala, I guess I have a different definition of IM.. In my mind it is a two way method of communications, not just a one way of broadcasting the written word to a given point.. In my mind when it is said we have unlimited IM usage , that means I can use IM as a two way avenue of communications without any other reservations.. No cost to any one other than the membership fee I have already paid..
