Like emergencies do not happen? Never been to sick to do a thing? Nice to never have either happen.

 Just move on... There are many more out there and here like us. You seem to be a real nice person and you do not need to wast time with him. Keep your head up and eyes open. I know for sure if I lived near you I would never stand you up.

 It sounds like there is a time and communications issue going on.

If the person has a strange working schedule or is married and has a family that makes it not able to set in stone a time to work with, I can see that otherwise most of us have a day and time we know we would be able to connect with someone baring a death or bad accident of a friend or family member.

If it seems that you are getting the brush off, I would ask for an explanation and if it did not sound real, you have a possible trust and liar situation on your hands and for me, that is 3 strikes!
